Not as Green Exhibition Opening a HUGE Success

August 21, 2021

Mission Arts attracted a good crowd on opening night of the NOT AS GREEN exhibition. The exhibition includes works by a group of experienced artists known as the GREEN painters and showcases a collection of oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings across a wide variety of styles and techniques.

“Each artist has prepared a body of work reflective of their personal style and individuality. In NOT AS GREEN the artists explore their connections to the natural environment, their everyday lives and personal identity.’ artist Lynda Hannah-Williams stated. “Opening night brought people from across the region and it was a wonderful event shared by all. The GREEN artists started several years ago and have evolved into a diverse group working in different styles and mediums, sharing ideas and knowledge.” Indeed, these talented local artists have been collaborating and painting together in preparation for this event for fifteen months.

The NOT AS GREEN exhibition features original works by (pictured left to right) Shara Cassidy, Bruce Parry, Carol Giuliany, Sue Pullman, Pete Faulkner and Lynda Hannah-Williams. It is on display at Mission Arts until 7 September (10am – 2pm daily). This exhibition is proudly sponsored by Women on Boards, Charley's Chocolate and Art Print Frame.
