Annette Anderson is an Innisfail based textile artist who also paints with acrylics.
She came late to the creative world, taking her first art lesson at 45 and the first creative stitchery workshop when she was 55. She completed many TAFE fine arts courses, and has attended TAFTA Textile forums in Rockhampton, Geelong and Orange.
Her hand embroidered textile work ranges from miniatures to wall hangings.
Her paintings are larger works, usually tropical flowers or landscapes.
